The Beatriz Merino Institute is a public policy research organization that addresses the constraints on sustainable welfare and development facing global societies in general and Peru in particular. Founded in 2019, this autonomous and non-profit organization leads in the creation and dissemination of knowledge. The Institute’s principal purpose is to aid efficiency and creativity in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of public policies, thereby becoming a benchmark for the development of public policy in Peru and Latin American countries.

Mission

We are a research center that has been created to help shape public policy. The Institute’s President, Beatriz Merino, has assembled a team of the best experts to conduct and publish research in the areas of education, public health, the environment, natural resources, ethics, good governance, sustainable development and competitiveness, and indigenous peoples. We will develop projects and organize seminars and conferences that promote rights and freedoms such as democracy and human rights, particularly as they relate to women, children, disabled and other vulnerable groups.
